Overview

 

All Starz is family owned and operated. We believe that our success depends greatly on our educators – they are the heart of our extended family.

 

Each campus has three full-time directors who oversee the care of approximately 230 students and 40 teachers and support staff.

 

Our team of educators includes:

 

• Lead Teachers – Lead Teachers are responsible for the general supervision and management of their individual classrooms. Over seventy-five percent of our Lead Teachers have a Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education or Elementary Education, plus related experience.

 

• Assistant Teachers – Assistant Teachers support their Lead Teachers with the general supervision and management of their classroom. These teachers also step up and perform the Lead Teacher’s responsibilities when she is out sick or on vacation. Over fifty percent of our Assistant Teachers have a Bachelor’s Degree, plus related experience.

 

• Specialty Teachers – These teachers, who have a Bachelor’s Degree in their subject area or extensive hands-on experience in their field, offer instruction in music, Spanish, and sports and movement. They provide a great deal of consistency for the children, guiding their education through the years they attend our school.

 

• Floating Teachers – These teachers, affectionately called “Floaters,” provide an incredible amount of stability in our school. They rotate throughout the day, offering an extra set of hands during messy art projects, providing planning times for teachers, covering lunch breaks, and standing in for teachers who may be out sick or on vacation. These teachers know all of our children and are talented in their ability to work with any age group throughout the school.

 

Some people ask about All Starz’s staff turnover. We have one of the lowest rates in the early childhood field. We are proud to attract the most talented, loving, and dedicated teachers!

We help keep teachers refreshed by providing breaks and planning times throughout the day. During these breaks, their classes are staffed by our Floating Teachers, who know each and every child at our school.

 

We are proud to celebrate our “Exceptional Educator” each month. This individual is someone who has gone above and beyond when it comes to implementing new and exciting curriculum ideas, addressing a parent’s question or concern, and taking the time to form a special bond with each child. Our “Exceptional Educator” is given a gift card to their favorite store or restaurant, recognized in our monthly school newsletter, and a star is placed on their “Staff Profile” for all to see.
