Support Staff

 

Each campus has 2 full-time support staff members. All of the behind-the-scenes work that goes on to keep our school clean and the children fed is thanks to these individuals. They are our heroes!

 

Throughout the day, we see them going in and out of the classrooms like busy bees. Our esteemed cook prepares a morning snack, lunch, and an afternoon snack in our commercial-grade kitchen and then delivers the food to each classroom so the children and teachers can enjoy a relaxing, family-style meal. Our meticulous housekeeper ensures that each classroom is thoroughly cleaned by sweeping and mopping floors, vacuuming rugs, emptying trash bins, sanitizing restrooms, and cleaning fingerprint-covered windows. She also ensures that every piece of linen is laundered on a regular basis, with the infant linens washed daily and the older children’s sheets and blankets washed weekly.

 

But just because our wonderful support staff take care of these tiny details doesn’t mean that the children don’t have to help. We believe that children should be given age-appropriate responsibility. With patient and gentle guidance from their teachers, Freshmen learn to wash their hands the correct way, Sophomores take pride in placing their plate and cup in the trash after meals, Juniors are always working on cleaning up their own little messes, and Seniors are delighted to remove their own cot sheets on laundry day.

 

Everyone plays their part in taking responsibility for our school’s safety and cleanliness, but we couldn’t do it without our fantastic support staff!
