Why All Starz?

We know that you have you have many options for child care in the Triangle Area. When you come to All Starz for a tour, we expect that you will notice what we call “The All Starz Difference.”

Five Star Guidelines

All Starz Children’s Academy goes above and beyond the North Carolina Five Star Rating Standards.

Our Campus

We have a state-of-the-art campus that was custom designed to meet the needs of young children. We have our very own organic garden, water park, playing field, outdoor classrooms, and indoor gyms. At our Morrisville location, our Preschool and Pre-Kindergarten programs are located in separate, yet adjacent buildings. At our Cary location, all age groups are located in one building.

Our Educators

Each director, teacher, and support staff member is chosen for their love of children, their sense of humor, and their high level of training and experience. All members of our Leadership Team are trained in the proper administration of medications and we have a specific locked cabinet for medications and medical supplies. We provide CPR (infant, child, and adult) and First Aid training for our educators and Leadership Team every two years, and we conduct refresher courses in the alternate years. All members of our Leadership Team and all educators in our Infant Program are also ITS-SIDS (Infant/Toddler Safe Sleep and SIDS Risk Reduction) certified.

Our Curriculum

Our curriculum provides a stimulating and challenging play-based environment where each child can choose between many different “learning centers,” such as blocks, dramatic play, art, books, music and movement, science, manipulatives, and sand and water play. When given a choice to explore a rich environment, children develop self-confidence and an enthusiasm for learning. We also incorporate sign language, computers with developmentally appropriate software, a reading program with “Travelling Teddy,” and SMART Boards into the curriculum. Specialty Programs are introduced starting with the Freshman Program, and include our Music Program, Cooking Projects, Science Experiments, our Sports and Movement Program, our Spanish Program, and our Soccer Program.

Healthy Choices

Good nutrition provides a stable foundation for children to develop mentally and physically. Our well-balanced menu focuses on fruits and vegetables, whole grains, and vitamins and minerals. Each day, our esteemed cook prepares a morning snack, lunch, and an afternoon snack in our commercial-grade kitchen. In coordination with our leadership team, she ensures that children with allergies and dietary restrictions receive the proper food. We are a completely nut-free environment. Additionally, All Starz offers a vegetarian option for lunch every day. All three meals are served family-style in the classrooms.

Internet Viewing

There are video cameras in each classroom and outdoor playground that display on monitors in the Welcome Area. New parents often stop to watch their children after dropping them off, surprised at how quickly they transition and begin playing with their friends. Parents are also given remote access to the camera feeds through a secure website, giving you peace of mind and a chance to “peek in” throughout your child’s day at school.

Security

All Starz uses one of the most advanced security management software programs on the market. Parents and staff members use a Personal Identification Number to gain access to the building and a biometric fingerprint reader to check in and out, ensuring each child’s safety. A six-foot iron fence (free from splinters for little fingers) ensures safety and provides an opportunity for the children to observe the natural world around them. Two gates are used for emergency evacuations, but remain locked throughout the day.

We are Family Owned and Operated!

We had such an amazing feeling the first time we walked into All Starz for our tour. It just felt "right." Every morning our two-year-old runs to the door and says "School! School!" Nothing makes you feel better than that!
